Meet the Commissioners

Three commissioners, elected at large by the voters of Silverdale Port District, serve six-year terms and establish Port policy.

Doug Kitchens

Doug Kitchens was appointed to the Port Commission in May of 2021

Caleb Reese

Caleb Reese was appointed to the Port Commission in april of 2019.

Ed Scholfield

Ed Scholfield was appointed to the Port Commission in April of 2007.

Ed, a life long resident of the area brings with him years of Project management experience to his position with the Port. Degrees in Business Administration from the University of Washington and Computer Science from Western Washington University combined with 20 years experience in the private sector and Department of the Navy will all contribute to the maintenance and development of the Port facilities.
